Bake:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Bake the meatballs in the oven until golden brown, and they reach 165 F on an instant-read thermometer, 25 minutes.
  3. Once done, transfer the meatballs to the sauce and turn to coat. Set the oven to grill.
  4. Assemble the sandwiches on a foil-lined baking tray and place 3 meatballs in each.
  5. Top with sauce and cheese.
  6. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes.
