Garlic Parmesan Orzo

Ingredients
- 600 millilitres Chicken Stock
- 240 grams Dried Orzo
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1⁄2 teaspoons Salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 78 millilitres Double Cream
- 25 grams Parmesan Cheese
- 2 tablespoons Parsley
Steps
- Combine the stock, orzo, garlic, salt, and pepper in a medium cast iron.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to medium-low, cover it with a lid, and simmer, stirring often (every 2 minutes).
- Cook until most of the liquid is absorbed and the pasta is cooked to your preference -- approximately 12 minutes. (If you want to cook the pasta further but the liquid is gone, just add a splash more stock).
- Stir in cream, Parmesan and parsley. Serve.
