Garlic Parmesan Orzo

  1. Combine the stock, orzo, garlic, salt, and pepper in a medium cast iron.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to medium-low, cover it with a lid, and simmer, stirring often (every 2 minutes).
  3. Cook until most of the liquid is absorbed and the pasta is cooked to your preference -- approximately 12 minutes. (If you want to cook the pasta further but the liquid is gone, just add a splash more stock).
  4. Stir in cream, Parmesan and parsley. Serve.
