Garlic & Chilli Edamame

Ingredients
- 150 grams Edamame Pods
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1⁄2 teaspoons Chilli Flakes
- 2 teaspoons Peanut Oil
- Pinch Salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
Steps
- Bring a small pot of well-salted water to the boil.
- Add 150 grams Frozen edamame in pod and cook for 3 minutes until heated through and tender.
- Drain the edamame and set aside. Leave them slightly damp — the moisture helps the seasoning stick.
- Heat neutral oil in a small pan over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and chilli flakes and stir for about 1m 30s until fragrant — don't let the garlic brown.
- Add the drained edamame and toss to coat for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Add sea salt and a small splash of soy sauce (optional finish) if using. Toss once more and serve immediately in a bowl. Eat by popping the beans out of the pod.
