Ingredients
Dough
- 180 grams Water (warm)
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dried Yeast
- 26 grams Olive Oil
- 240 grams Plain Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Topping (serves 4)
- 57 grams Butter (melted)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced or crushed)
- 2 tablespoons Parsley
- Mozzarella
- Chilli Flakes (optional)
Steps
Dough:
- Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add in the olive oil, flour, and salt, and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead for 5 to 6 minutes until smooth, but firm.
- Add olive oil to a large bowl and add the dough. Coat the dough in the oil, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
Shape:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C fan.
- Remove the dough onto a lightly floured surface and split into 4 pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball (this is when you'd freeze, if desired), then with a rolling pin roll it out into a flat circular shape.
- Assemble on a baking tray and let rest while you make the topping:
Topping & Cooking

- Sprinkle the cheese on top.
- Add salt and/or chilli flakes if desired.
- Bake at 180°C fan on the top rack for 12 or 13 minutes until golden.
